BRIEF.

Take the simple existing landscape, with it’s strip boundary planting and empty raised beds, and create a subtropical oasis. Planting choice to mix form and structure, as well as introduce pops of strong colour which will add seasonal features to the garden.

Special attention was paid to revitalising key vistas from the sophisticated interior to newly refreshed outdoors. A key feature of many subtropical gardens is their ‘canvas’ of varieties of taller plants. Here this helped create the oasis the clients were after, as well as hiding the prominent fence and softening the large neighbouring hedge.
